Where, oh where, has my CPK pizza gone?

On Tuesday I went to lunch with my mom and sister to CPK and got the delicious Chipotle Chicken pizza on their awesome honey wheat dough. Then I brought the leftovers back with me to work. I don't work Wednesday's so I was looking forward to having it on my Thursday lunch break. Thursday rolls around, I go to the fridge at work, when lo and behold, it's gone. My co-worker ate my pizza! I was devastated. I had been looking forward to it's goodness! What do you do when this happens? Has this ever happened to any of you out there who may look at my blog? Can you feel my pain? Is it right to be angry? I mean, that's ridiculous, right? I'm trying to not think about it anymore, but I just can't believe someone would take without asking. So now what I am supposed to eat for lunch? I spent good money on that pizza!

Welcome Home!

Picking up my little brother from the airport was awesome! We all missed Jordan. It was crazy to think of how much has happened in our family in the past 2 years. I am so proud of him in every way. For continuing the work knowing what my mom was going through, but knowing she wanted him out there. He served well and his whole outlook is so different. What a great brother! His testimony is such a blessing to everyone around him because he lives it. I was extremely impressed with his homecoming talk as well. But the night he came home we just had fun! Celebrated at Olive Garden (although I had just gotten over the stomach flu so I wasn't really into that so much. But being there with the whole family was great.)

Waiting for Jordan to arrive...
My mom said she wouldn't cry, but my sister and I knew better than that. Here she is "not crying".

Hollywood...

So the day after Christmas Jason and I took Danielle and Kiffy to Universal Studios. We had passes and were excited to use them because we have never been. We had the best time! Despite the freeeeeeeeezing cold and the lack of rides, we managed to have such a fun time! Hoe could you not with such great friends? We got the see the back lots, you know, where the filmed Jaws and Desperate Housewives and stuff. We rode the Simpson's ride which was a trip. I don't think my head agreed with the cold or that ride (it is a roller coaster simulator in a room where you are completely surrounded by a cartoon and literally feels like a roller coaster) because I ended up with vertigo for an entire week. Worst thing of my life. But anyway, the day was great and it was so nice to spend time with Danielle and Kif. Love them.

A little more Christmas

Christmas day it was absolutely gorgeous out! We had definitely had the best winter I can remember. The clouds have been amazing. I love that Heavenly Father creates such beautiful art out of nature. I am so blessed to have been able to be outside frequently to enjoy it. Just a couple pictures I took Christmas afternoon.

Liz and I Christmas morning. (Behind us is the TV that Jason knew he was getting, and the home theater system which was the best surprise. The look on his face was the best!)

Mt niece Katelyn cam over and we gave her a Cabbage Patch Kid-premi. They make premi babies! Ha. She loved it!

A little late but... Merry Christmas!

This year Jason and I were pretty excited about Christmas. We decked out our apartment and tried to make it special. We had such a great season filled with friends, family, LOTS of goodies and yummy foods. Here is a picture of our tree and then of my family hanging out on Christmas Eve at my parent's house.

This is Munchkin, my family's cat. He was put to sleep just a couple weeks after Christmas. We all miss him a lot, especially my mom. It is sad to have him gone, but we can visit his grave in the backyard. He even has a tombstone.

My parents. They are the best. I honestly am so lucky to have them.

For Christmas this year we went to my parent's and had a traditional turkey dinner and all the normal Eve festivities. My grandparents came down from Bakersfield and Grandpa read the Christmas story; then my sister gave her gift to the family, which was a donation to the Make a Wish Foundation. We got the cutest star ornaments to remind us every year, pretty awesome.
On Christmas morning I made homemade banana bread, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, and cut up pineapple w/ my coconut bananas. The whole fam came over and we enjoyed Christmas together.
